On the southern edge of The London Boroughs, Sutton is a busy town with an extensive shopping centre and local facilities. To the south of the borough, and referred to in one newspaper article as an area with the highest number of millionaires, South Cheam along with South Sutton form an exclusive area that lies between Cheam Village, Sutton town centre and the open spaces of the Metropolitan Green Belt. Cheam Village has varied local shopping and a choice of restaurants, the David Lloyd Sports centre and the historic Nonsuch Park, once home to King Henry XIII’s palace. Both Sutton and Cheam have fast rail services to London – 20 minutes and 25 minutes respectively.
